I have been having trouble shooting at low light condition. The on board flash isn’t really forgiving as we know it. Is a nightmare each time i click the shutter. Without flash with boost up ISO is not really helping either. To get an external flash will surely blow a hole in my tiny puny wallet. But I wasn’t ready to buy an external flash yet. Hence I do some homework on how to capture picture at low light condition, and I found out about Lightscoop (www.lightscoop.com). Being a DIY person, I opt to make my own version. Here I present you Kok Kun style flash bouncer enhancement. I’m not going elaborate on how I do it. So far is yielding very good results. And I like it very much. It isn’t good as the Speedlite but it does work. Well we will see how it work on the field. Image were taken in the room

my Bike collection
This is my hobby when I was a teenager… building my super bike from scratch.. maybe I’m over drama a bit there. But is no easy task. Those day I don’t have tools like I have today. Arming myself with nail clipper, super glue, aerosol paint, permanent marker, scissor, knife, sticker and thick load of patient. 1 bike takes me 1 week to complete it. Each bike come up to 300 part to be assemble. If you lost it or broke it..there is no spare. You only have very very small margin of error, everything have to be precise. Is damn fragile. I try to make it as real as possible, like section in an engine casing is hollow. I stuff it with soldering lead to make it heavy, so the engine feel solid. This bike is from Honda NSR 250 “RESPOL” driven by Cardús in the late 80′s and early 90′s.

And this is legendary Honda NR. This is my most 2 favourite bike.

My Tool
This time i want to share with you all the tool that i have. I like to DIY. So you got to have tool. Here is my tool box. As you can see is dirty meaning i have my hand dirty alot.

And here is my tool, picture shown is the tool that i carry around…mmmnnn i would say portable unit around 70%. The rest is much bigger item i left it at home. Is a must item for a man. hehehehe….

DIY Marco Lens
I like Macro photography but my current Digital camera …(yeah you read it right) ..couldn’t capture the picture i want. So here comes my first DIY post.
My broken Canon USM lens was left unattended for like 6 years… luckily I didn’t throw away… It look like this when it’s crack open … OOuuchhh!!

Some hot glue gun, masking tape, pvc pipe and rubber sticker(that just for look) hehehe…
I use 1 5/8″ pipe diameter with 1″ long PVC pipe. I glue the small lens and the PVC pipe together. I use masking tape to the inner pvc pipe so that the diameter is much more smaller and can fit into the my digital camera lens snuggly. I mean just nice..not to tight not to loose. You don want your digital lens motor spoil because the pvc pipe fit in to tight. Lastly paint it black or add style to it. And WALLA!!! your DIY Macro Lens.

Here the picture before inserting and after inserting.

OK now let’s test how it perform….
